Meetup announcement: High volume data processing

On thursday the 12th of march Terra 10 will be hosting our next meetup at our 's-Hertogenbosch office. The topic of this meetup will be all about high volume data processing and our mission will be to explore the various ways in which we can achieve this goal.

The use case:

At the moment we are hard at work to provide a cool usecase revolving around shipping data, specifically gps coordinates for vessels all around the world. This data will be mocked based on some real world samples. Our goal is to provide queues and topics filled with lots of data for attendees to process and deliver to a different endpoint which in turn will display the data on a chart.

In this meetup the mission for the attendees will be to explore various ways in which this data can be processed and delivered. It will be fascinating to find out the performance numbers versus the cost of various ways of processing.

Can I join?

At the moment there are still some seats left so you are free to come and join us! We post all our meetups at meetup.com/terra10 so make sure to become a member of our community of developers and get notified right away when more meetups are announced.

How about some results!

After the meetup we will collect some solutions and post them on our github account as well as upload the usecase there. Of course we will also share our results here on our blog!

See you next time!
